Las Vegas — 3/25/2024 — It’s time to set off the colored smoke bombs and celebrate! Couples searching for an easy way to get married against the backdrop of Red Rock Canyon now have greater say in the way their ceremony is conducted thanks to Desert Love, a new outdoor wedding venue on the doorsteps of the famous park.

In true Las Vegas fashion, the folks at Cactus Collective Weddings are thrilled to offer fun features couples want — like smoke bombs — as part of their celebratory photos, but can’t get inside the national conservation area.

In addition to a serene outdoor venue dotted with Joshua trees, couples can add arbors, decorations, smoke bombs and other cool add ons to complete the perfect look and feel of their Vegas desert wedding.

Desert Love provides numerous options, million-dollar views and none of the tourist crowds clamoring to see one of the Southwest’s most enjoyed geological features. The new wedding venue sits just outside the gates of the tourist mecca.

McKenzi Taylor, founder of Cactus Collective Weddings and Electric Sugar Elopements praises the addition of Desert Love by saying it’s a great option for couples who wish to have a little more control over their wedding experience.

“Las Vegas ceremony backdrops don’t get much better than the red and cream colored cliffs of Red Rocks. But in order to provide the best experience to all visitors, there’s things you just can’t do on that side of the gates. Something as simple as chairs for up to 50 wedding guests for instance. But now, couples can get it all!”

One recently married bride praised the Taylor led team following her Vegas wedding. Leila Dzibelal said, “Cactus Collective exceeded our expectations. Their team members (were) responsive, caring, and truly made our day so special. It was so nice to have a stress-free wedding while still getting everything that we wanted.” Adding, “The photos they captured of us will be treasured forever.”
