One of the most anticipated events of the year is coming to Las Vegas for the first time ever in February 2024.

The Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, February 11, but the NFL’s showcase event will undoubtedly take over the city for at least a week prior to the game.

Big plans are in the works for visitors during Super Bowl week;  since Vegas is quickly becoming a marquee sports destination, there will be no shortage of exciting things to see and do for football fans.

If you’re coming to Sin City for the biggest football party of the year then why not grab your #1 teammate, put a championship ring on it and get married?!

Don’t tell us football doesn’t matter. Don’t tell us football isn’t about family. Super Bowl weddings are every bit as emotional and special as any other — just watch and try not to cry.

Let’s look at some ideas for couples wanting to huddle up with their team for one heck of a party and say “I do” in Las Vegas as part of their Super Bowl trip.

Where to Stay

Quick answer: Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace has been named the NFL Headquarter Hotel and will act as the NFL’s home base while onsite in Las Vegas.

Caesars Entertainment became the first ever casino partner of the NFL in 2019, and the relationship between the league and one of the world’s most recognizable resorts remains strong.

Located at the Strip’s 50 yard line, Caesars has established itself as a major part of the NFL experience, and likely also has a familiar relationship with NFL fans from across the country.

That’s because several other NFL cities have Caesars Entertainment destinations that have had sponsorship relationships with teams for years.

New Orleans Saints fans and Baltimore Ravens fans in particular will feel right at home if they’ve spent any amount of time at either Harrahs’ New Orleans or Horseshoe Baltimore on game days over the years.

The full lineup of Caesars Entertainment properties in Las Vegas will be rockin’ during Super Bowl week, and couples choosing to stay in the Caesars Entertainment empire will surely get the MVP treatment.

Another spot that’s known for going all out for football fans is the Circa.

The newest player in downtown Las Vegas has the world’s largest sportsbook, the only year-round outdoor heated pool, which doubles as one of the greatest places to watch sports (Stadium Swim), and is owned by one of the city’s most well-known sports fans: Derrick Stevens.

He has catered to sports fans since he first took over the Golden Gate Casino in 2008.

If couples and their wedding parties want to stay close to Allegiant Stadium, site of the NFL Championship game itself, then they may want to book a room at Mandalay Bay.

Not only is it a short walk from the “The Death Star,” but during Super Bowl week it will also be home to the Super Bowl Experience.

Couples looking to fully immerse themselves in NFL fandom during their Super Bowl wedding trip should spend an afternoon or two at the Super Bowl Experience.

Considered an NFL “theme park,” the experience has several interactive games including the 40-yard dash.

Fans will also be able to get autographs from NFL star players and take photos with the Super Bowl Rings and Vince Lombardi trophy.

Wedding Venues

Quick answer: Canyon Gate Country Club

Many football fans also love golf, so this lovely private golf course about 20–25 minutes from the Strip would make a good crossover choice.

Sports fans will appreciate the course views, and everyone else will enjoy a beautiful lake and luxurious greenery at the Canyon Gate Country Club.

Weddings in Las Vegas are not complete without the Red Rock Mountains in the background, which look spectacular when viewed from the Lakeview Patio, The Arch or through the Canyon Gate Grand Ballroom’s 25-foot glass windows.

The Super Bowl isn’t the only sporting event happening during Super Bowl week, and sports fans will never be too far from a TV if they hold their wedding at a Las Vegas casino.

That’s why Green Valley Ranch also makes a great Super Bowl week wedding venue.

They’ve always got the TVs tuned to sports, and fans will appreciate the ability to catch some of the PGA Tour stop in Phoenix, NBA and college basketball games or NHL hockey action in between wedding events.

Another one of our favorite casino wedding venues that would be a good fit for a Super Bowl wedding is Red Rock Resort. Weddings there deliver an elegant atmosphere with just the right amount of fanciness.

Plus, for sporting couples, this spot on the west side of town is close enough to the Red Rock Canyon National Recreation Area that, if you’re an active outdoor enthusiast as well as a spectator sports fan, you’ll be able to take advantage of all that this natural gem has to offer.

Hiking, rock climbing, biking and much more could be part of your sports-themed Super Bowl in Las Vegas wedding.

Attire

Quick answer: A jersey from your favorite player, some team-colored face paint and a championship wedding ring!

If you’re going to incorporate a Super Bowl or NFL theme with your actual wedding, rather than just getting married in Vegas during the Super Bowl festivities, then you won’t want to punt!

Go for it with a full on NFL-themed blitz by dressing up in your best game day attire.

Get loaded up with as much fan apparel as possible so that you can show your dedication to your team as you dedicate your life to your partner.

If you want to, you can give your soulmate an authentic Super Bowl championship ring in place of a traditional wedding ring.

They’ve been known to come up for sale once in a while, and you could even grab one from the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop while you’re in town.

Head to the north end of the Strip, where Rick Harrison and the guys always have several up for sale. They also have other hard to find NFL collectibles.

Another place to shop for NFL gear is the NFL Las Vegas Store inside the Caesars Forum shops. It’s the ultimate destination for jerseys, t-shirts, hats and more for you and the whole wedding party.

If your group has a bunch of different allegiances then this is a great place to shop, because they’re guaranteed to have gear from all 32 teams! The store is located by the Atlantis Aquarium.

Entertainment

Quick answer: Vegas Golden Knights

In addition to the moniker of “wedding capital of the world,” Las Vegas is also now dubbing itself the greatest arena on earth.

That’s because of the growth of professional sports here, which really all started when the Vegas Golden Knights came to town as an NHL expansion team.

The reigning Stanley Cup Champions will play home games the Tuesday before Super Bowl Sunday, as well as the following Monday.

If Super Bowl Tickets are out of your price range, then you can still see some top-notch sports action by going to a VGK hockey game.

We hear that the Minnesota Vikings are a popular long shot pick to win the Super Bowl, so if you happen to be a Vikings fan and a Minnesota Wild fan, then maybe you could come to town to see both your teams during your Super Bowl wedding.

In a normal year, in which the Super Bowl isn’t taking place in town, Las Vegas draws in a ton of visitors, and is the second most sought after place to be other than the actual city that’s hosting the game.

The entertainment offerings in a normal year reflect that. So you can only imagine what fun and excitement is going to be taking place this year when we actually host the game.

Normally, we have NFL alums in town doing appearances and autograph signings at various sports bars, memorabilia shops or trading card shows that week.

Expect more of that come February 2024. The Orleans Hotel & Casino is known for a fairly robust memorabilia show that usually includes old time players.

The Field of Dreams memorabilia stores inside the Caesars Forum Shops and at The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian is another place that regularly hosts autograph signings.

Super Bowl-themed golf tournaments are always fun.

Golfers know that mesh jerseys are frowned upon on the golf course normally, but all bets are off during a Super Bowl themed tournament. Watch for Desert Pines Golf Club to offer a fun two-person NFL-themed outing during Super Bowl week, as they’ve been known to do it in the past.

It could be the perfect way for the two of you to get your competitive juices flowing while in town for your Super Bowl in Las Vegas Wedding!

Locals’ Secret

Quick answer: The Team Bar for Your NFL Team

About a third of the NFL teams have at least one bar dedicated to their team in Las Vegas.

“Out-of-market” fans gather every week to cheer on their old hometown team at several locations across the Vegas valley.

You won’t be alone if you come to Las Vegas — Raiders territory — to rep someone other than the Silver and Black.

As impartial observers, our favorites are Jake’s Bar at 2301 S. Eastern Ave, which serves up super cheap eats and drinks to Denver Broncos fans, Crab Corner Maryland Seafood House at 6485 S. Rainbow Blvd for its menu of Chesapeake Bay specialties, which will make Baltimore Ravens fans feel right at home, and Green Bay Packer outpost Big Dog’s Draft House (4543 N. Rancho) thanks to it being home to Las Vegas’ original craft brewing company.

It All Comes Down to This!

Las Vegas is built to entertain and is sure to thrill the crowds coming to town for Super Bowl LVII in February 2024.

There will never be a more exhilarating way for football fans to tie the knot than to say “I do” in the heart of the Vegas action during the first ever Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
