This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Snow Moon because the heaviest snows usually fell during this time of the year. Since hunting is difficult in harsh weather, this moon has also been called the Hunger Moon.
There won’t be any snow in Las Vegas, but if you’re escaping the harsh conditions of Canada, the upper Midwest or the East Coast, you’ll want to howl at this full moon from the center of the Vegas universe; the Fremont Street Experience! Do it as part of a Downtown Photo Walking Tour.

If you’re looking to take a honeymoon road trip to do some stargazing in one of the darkest places in the United States – Death Valley, then this wedding date is perfect for you.
