A Look Behind the Scenes of CCW’s Behind The Scenes Content Creation Wedding Day Add-on

There’s a new breed of wedding photographer and videographer in town. Have you heard of a wedding content creator? How about a Behind the Scenes service? Some people might call it a wedding social producer or wedding day concierges. If you haven’t heard of these folks, then listen up. It’s about time I peeled back the curtain on this new must have wedding day add-on.

If you’ve been scrolling through TikTok or Instagram in search of wedding inspiration, chances are you’ve seen hundreds of posts that were shot, or edited (or both) by a content creator. But you may not have realized that’s where this sort of stuff is coming from. Look for candid pics and vids native to a vertical format that show more of what goes on during your wedding day than what the traditional photographs capture.

It’s all the rage for couples wanting to share their special day with their online followers. More than any other trend, hiring a content creator for your wedding is THE new wedding trend you don’t want to miss out on.

More Must-have Media Than Ever Before

Cactus Collective Weddings has our very own Behind The Scenes specialist. I love educating people about this content creator role and how it can enhance the enjoyment and the memories that a couple gets out of their wedding.

It’s important to state that our Behind The Scenes (BTS) service doesn’t replace a traditional photographer or videographer. Couples book a BTS camera person in addition to the professional photographer included in our all-inclusive packages.

While traditional photogs take pictures with a powerful large-bodied pro-level camera (or cameras) to deliver high quality and timeless images to cherish forever, BTS photogs use a smart phone to create media that can be delivered quickly and uploaded within hours not weeks.

Essentially, it’s a batch of raw photos and videos couples can get their hands on right away so they can speedily share pics and flics of their special day. No more waiting for the traditional photos that have to be processed, edited, uploaded or printed. You’ll still get those of course, but now you can get some shareable goodies before the wedding weekend is even over.

What You’ll Get

Depending on which coverage option you choose, our social media expert will be with you for up to 6 hours on your wedding day. Their job will be to capture behind the scenes, raw and unedited pictures and video. You’ll get up to 100 pieces of content of your wedding day. Use the audio-free clips and raw photos however you like.

Here’s a sample of the kinds of clips you can expect to receive.

Think of the Behind The Scenes Add-on like being able to hand off your phone to your bestie so that they can snap some pictures and take some videos for you. With a dedicated BTS shooter by your side you won’t have to ask, “Is anyone getting this on camera?”

Yes! We’re recording. We got you.

When You’ll Get It

I know you can’t wait to get your hands on this social media gold, so we’ll be sure to send it your way within 48 hours. You’ll get between 30 and 100 pieces of content, depending on the coverage option you choose. Then it’s up to you to put it to use and post it however and wherever you want.

What You Can Do With It

The short answer is anything you want. We’re just here to capture it for you so that you have the files to work with. Add some music, slap on some digital stickers, splice clips together, take screengrabs and piece posts together to your heart’s content.

Check out a reel one of our recent brides, Stephanie B., made with some of her BTS files.

Make Your Wedding Day Media Plan Complete

Now that you know what it’s all about, I hope you’ll be as excited to book a Behind The Scenes content creator as I am to offer it.
