Their Story

Sometimes you meet the person you’re going to marry years before and just don’t realize it. Regina and Leo met in high school but weren’t really familiar with each other. Fate stepped in years later and they wound up working at the same restaurant. He was the chef and she was the waitress, forcing them to spend lots of face time together. A year after they started working together they began dating and have been inseparable the past 10 years!

Regina found her gorgeous dress at David’s Bridal and says it was the very first dress she tried on! How’s that for luck?  She decided to personalize their ceremony with some DIY touches. She hand-made all the bridesmaids’ bouquets, the groomsmen’s boutonnières, her cage veil and even her earrings. Color us impressed! Her cousin also pitched in and made all the crystal necklaces for the ladies. “I LOVED personalizing the details of my wedding and would do it again a million times!“ said Regina.

They decided to wait until the ceremony to see each other because Leo felt it would make it that much sweeter seeing her walk down the aisle. Regina would have preferred a first look so she didn’t have to worry about the photographer possibly catching her trip while walking down the aisle but it was worth it because it wound up being Leo’s favorite moment of the day. Her favorite moment was making the crowd (and him) go wild with her heart-felt, witty vows.

Regina and Leo encourage other couple to not stress over the little things. “Enjoy every moment of the best moment of your life! No matter how many “imperfect” things occur, everything will be absolutely perfect!” said Regina.
