Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to celebrate your love. And we think Vegas is the perfect place to do it.

We all might love New York. Philly is the city of brotherly love. But there’s only one Fabulous Las Vegas.

If you’re heading to town to celebrate, we’ve got you covered with plenty of Valentine’s Day ideas for the two of you.

No matter how long you’ve been together, Vegas is a great place for some fun, some romance and some unforgettable shared experiences with your sweetheart.

Newly Dating

If you’ve only been dating for a short time, Vegas is a good place to go on your first vacation together. There’s no pressure on a trip to Vegas.

It’s not like you’re going to Hawaii, Cabo or Paris; asking someone to come to Sin City with you just hits different.

There’s no expectation that there will be a sunset on a white sand beach and a marriage proposal.

Comedy shows and sporting events are great Valentine’s Day ideas. They’re fun and playful, and every score or great play is a chance to high five your date!

Comedy Show

Some of the best comedians in the business have residencies on the Strip and there’s always a household name on stage and plenty of up-and-comers behind the mic.

There’s also a number of hilarious shows to choose from that bring more to the stage than just a stand-up routine. Our favorites include Zombie Burlesque, Absinthe, and the Nathan Burton comedy magic show.

See a Game

Las Vegas is quickly becoming the greatest arena on Earth, (Vegas Aces two-time champs baby!!), and the Vegas Golden Knights have led the way.

The reigning world champions are home against the Minnesota Wild on the Monday before Valentine’s Day 2024. Grab a pair of tickets near the ice and warm your new linemate’s heart with some hot hockey action.

One of the newest teams in town, the Las Vegas Desert Dogs, are home to face the Philadelphia Wings on the Friday after Valentine’s Day 2024.

Our idea: take your “great one” to see Wayne Gretzky’s indoor lacrosse team!

Been Dating for a While

If you’ve been dating for a while, it may be time to take Valentine’s Day up a notch.

By this point you’re probably exclusive, and you may be sharing expectations for how holidays are celebrated, how gifts are exchanged and how love and appreciation are shown.

Vegas can hit the right notes. Our hospitality experts know just how to treat you and your VIP.

Breakfast in Bed

One of the sweetest gestures of all time is to make your significant other breakfast in bed.

But might we suggest you make it easier on both of you by ordering room service instead? Just be sure to ask the kitchen for heart-shaped pancakes.

If the mood really strikes, you could even use some of the hotel stationary to write a bubbly little love note to go along with the mimosas.

Play Tourist

They say you never really get to know someone until you travel with them. Traversing the Strip can be a thrill and a challenge. See how your travel partner stacks up on a long day playing tourist.

See the sights and enjoy some of the attractions and entertainment that make Las Vegas the adult Disneyland that it is.

If you’re wielding your camera and want to take some snapshots of the two of you, head for the Bellagio to watch the fountains and visit the conservatory, ascend to the top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas for one of the city’s best views, or make a trek to downtown to see some great street art and large scale murals.

Our photographers love to use them as backdrops, and you will too.

Hire a Photographer

Speaking of photography, why not document your love-filled day on the Strip with the help of a professional photographer to celebrate Valentine’s Day?

The right photographer can give you and your co-star the Hollywood treatment and catch all those flirtatious moments that will be fun to look back on when your holiday is over.

If you plan on getting engaged while on your Valentine’s Day trip to Vegas, I’d love to do an engagement photo session with the two of you. Connect with me today!

Engaged

Being engaged can be one of the most unique and happiest times of your life. You should celebrate your love every day between the day that you say, “Yes,” and the day that you say, “I do”… especially if one of those days happens to be February 14th. Get romantic with these date night ideas.

Dinner for Two

Vegas has become a destination for foodies. You and your fiancé will have a plethora of options as you search for the perfect Valentine’s Day hot spot.

French cuisine is always romantic. If you want to go big, choose Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand for its three Michelin Stars and its high-end dining experience. It’s quiet and intimate and promises to serve up one of the finest meals of your life.

If you’d rather dine on great Italian food, we can’t say enough good things about Esther’s Kitchen. Chef and owner James Trees treats his guests like family while serving up freshly made pasta and steaming hot sourdough loaves we L-O-V-E!

Sunset Park Pond

If you want to keep your Valentine’s Day activity a little simpler, Sunset Park Pond is the perfect setting for just getting outside, spending quality time together and enjoying an inexpensive but high-quality daytime activity.

The 324-acre community park is home to a 14-acre pond that’s ideal for couples looking to go for a stroll while holding hands.

Hot Air Balloon Ride

Who says date night can’t take place in the morning? View the Mojave Desert from the quiet morning serenity of a hot air balloon thanks to Vegas Balloon Rides.

Book a ride for just the two of you in order to make it an extra romantic adventure. Their rides include a champagne toast and roundtrip transportation.

Surprising fun fact: you’ll have cellphone coverage in the balloon, so even if you climb to 10,000 feet, you could still go live on your favorite social media channel during the ride.

Married

Whether you’re newlyweds enjoying Las Vegas on your honeymoon or you’re celebrating a big anniversary, Vegas can be the perfect getaway for a married couple — haha if only because you can’t decide where else to go!

Don’t worry. From wild to tame, we got you covered.

Movie Marathon

Sure, you could book a room in one of the best hotels for couples and order a day or two worth of pay-per-view flicks, but what if you were to add in an old-fashioned movie theater?

The Beverly Theater is an art house that specializes in movie events perfect for every occasion, as well as concerts and literature offerings.

We don’t know what they have up their sleeve yet, but we’re betting they won’t disappoint on Valentine’s Day. Read more about them in a recent feature in the Las Vegas Weekly magazine.

Karaoke

Do you and your spouse love music…and maybe occasionally annoying each other by singing at the top of your lungs? There’s a date for that! Karaoke!

Choose a love song obviously. It’s Valentine’s Day after all.

Some of our favorite spots include Fremont Street’s the Cat’s Meow (with floor to ceiling cheetah print and neon), the more low key Aloha Kitchen at Decatur and Sahara, and a true dive bar Dino’s on the north end of the Strip.

They all make for a super fun night out, and on Valentine’s Day you’ll probably have the whole crowd singing with you.

Love for All

We hope you and your partner find something fun, romantic and entertaining in Las Vegas with the help of our Valentine’s day ideas!

And remember, if you need engagement photos while you’re visiting, or if you want to renew your vows, we’d love to help you.
