Couples who are planning to have a micro wedding do so for many reasons.

They’re more affordable, less stressful and provide a curated experience. Micro weddings offer maximum enjoyment, flexibility and venue options.

Think about it: if you’re planning to invite 200 or more people, you’re limited to venues that can accommodate that many guests.

But a micro wedding venue only needs to have room for your closest friends and family, typically no more than 50 people. The options really open up and give you the ability to spend your special day in some truly incredible locations.

That’s where we come in.

Cactus Collective Weddings has done the hard part of selecting the best micro wedding and elopement venues in Las Vegas. We’ve put together hundreds of intimate wedding ceremonies for couples in our incredible venues, and have found a beautiful micro wedding venue for everyone.

Check out our list of micro wedding venues in Las Vegas to see what sets each of them apart and why they could be the right place for you!

Lee Canyon

This mountain lover’s paradise is one of our newest venues. It is secluded, intimate and has a rustic down-to-earth charm. It’s perfect for couples looking to escape the Mojave Desert’s heat, as it’s typically 20° cooler than in the Vegas Valley.

Red Rock Canyon

Stunning mountain vistas and colorful rock formations protrude from the desert floor, offering a breathtaking backdrop for ceremonies in this National Recreation Area. It’s only 20 minutes from the Strip but feels remote and quiet, giving couples lots of privacy surrounded by nature’s beauty.

Common Question: What is a micro wedding and why would I choose to have one?

Answer: By definition, it’s an intimate celebration for a small group of close friends and family — about 50 people max. Go this route if you want an intimate and light-on-stress gathering that won’t break the bank.

Common Question: How many guests can a typical micro wedding venue accommodate?

Answer: You’re in charge of the number of people on your guest list. We can accommodate anywhere from just the 2 of you to up to 50 people.

Valley of Fire

One of the Mojave Desert’s most scenic landscapes. It’s less than an hour away from the Strip but it feels like you’re on another planet. Book this one if you’re looking for amazing views of fiery sandstone formations without the touristy vibes.

Cactus Joe’s

Sitting in the southwest corner of Las Vegas, this beautifully landscaped desert garden sports a quaint, hand-built chapel perfect for micro weddings and elopements. Native plants, towering saguaro cacti, eclectic yard art, a labyrinth and much more give couples many photogenic spots to say “I do.”

Common Question: What kind of venues are suitable for micro weddings?

Answer: Small chapels, wide open outdoor spaces, picturesque parks, lush gardens and even vineyards! We offer many different types of venues that all provide intimate and photographic spaces.

Common Question: What is the average cost of a micro wedding venue compared to a traditional wedding venue?

Answer: Much less. We’re talking hundreds, not (tens of?) thousands. Our packages, which include florals, an official, the venue fee AND photography, start at less than $4000! The venue fee is only a small portion of that.

Green Valley Ranch

This luxury resort away from the crowds on the Strip is gorgeous and — surprise — full of greenery. Plan to hold your micro wedding at GVR if you’re seeking a Tuscan-inspired retreat that includes serene gardens and pools, with a vineyard just steps away from the hotel tower. Enjoy all the amenities of a Las Vegas mega-resort and all the beauty of Italy.

Bellagio

At the center of the resort corridor, Bellagio is one of the most elegant properties in town. Weddings at the Bellagio are quintessentially Vegas. You’ll feel like you’ve flown across the pond while being right in the middle of all the Las Vegas action. The dancing fountains are always a favorite photo spot.

Eldorado Canyon

Get married in one of the wildest places in the West. Historic structures, gold mining legends and the occasional howling coyote make this one of the most unique micro wedding destinations on our list. History buffs and vintage Americana enthusiasts will feel right at home on their wedding day in Eldorado Canyon.

Common Question: Can I customize the venue for my micro wedding?

Answer: Absolutely! We offer a menu of add-ons to help you customize the venue for your wedding. Each little addition emphasizes the magnificence of the venue and brings out your personality without breaking the bank.

Common Question: What kind of services do micro wedding venues offer?  Do they include catering, decorations or photography?

Answer: Cactus Collective takes great pride in our magazine-worthy photography. We have also worked hard to build amazing relationships with the best vendors for catering and decorations. All of our partners want nothing more than to make your wedding day magical.

Canyon Gate Country Club

A beautiful lake, luxurious greenery and Red Rock Canyon backdrops compliment classic Greco-Roman inspired architecture at the exclusive Canyon Gate Country Club. Conveniently located not far from the airport and the Strip, it’s mere minutes from Downtown Summerlin.

GreenGale Farms

Within the grounds of this truly unique, family-owned farm are multiple all-natural backdrops: fruit orchards, palm tree forests, rustic woodlands, shaded olive groves and a pristine desert wilderness. It’s also great for animal lovers — part of the location fee helps care for rescue animals that now call GreenGale Farms home.

JW Marriott

The majestic Mediterranean-style resort is a stone’s throw from Red Rock Canyon and just 20 minutes from the Strip. Couples choose it for a classic, traditional-style wedding vibe that’s both affordable and intimate. A selection of photogenic spots, like water features, palms and manicured lawns, offer couples flexibility and beauty.

Common Question: What kind of amenities and facilities are included in the rental fee?

Answer: Of course, given the variety of our venue selection, the amenities and facilities at each are different. If you choose one of our luxurious resorts, you’ll have access to all the great things Vegas has to offer. That’s not necessarily true of our park, mountain top and canyon-style venues. If you’re interested in one of our more rustic venues, reach out and we’ll fill you in.

Common Question: Can I have both the ceremony and reception at the same micro wedding venue?

Answer: Yes. It’s easier at some venues than others. But even the Dry Lake Bed can accommodate a dessert cart and champagne toast.

The Neon Museum

Nowhere else on earth will you find a collection like that of the Neon Museum. Dedicated to preserving the history of Vegas’ iconic signage, the museum tells the story of Glitter Gulch’s glamorous glowing lights. For couples looking to start their future amongst Vegas’s past, this is THE spot. Hot tip for our blog readers: this one books up well in advance so jump on it as soon as possible. We’re not kidding.

Red Rock Resort

Red Rock Casino delivers an elegant atmosphere with just the right amount of fancy for a perfect Las Vegas micro wedding or elopement destination. Couples searching for a luxurious Vegas resort wedding venue should make the easy choice and go with this locals’ favorite.

Floyd Lamb Park

Shade trees and gorgeous lakeside views abound at this park welcoming couples to a gorgeous venue. A gazebo makes for a romantic outdoor ceremony, while amazing views of the Sheep Mountains and Spring Mountains give tranquility to this low-key micro wedding or elopement wedding venue.

Common Question: What kind of restrictions or rules do micro wedding venues have in terms of timing, noise or outside vendors?

Answer: Each venue has its own rules in place that make sense for them. Some of our venues place more restrictions in place than others, and some embrace the Wild Wild West ethos still acceptable in some parts of Vegas. We’ve done the research and have the answers for each. Reach out and we’ll be happy to explain the rules for your top venue choices.

Common Question: How far in advance should I book a micro wedding venue?

Answer: About 10 months to a year in advance is a good general guideline. Our most popular venues fill up quickly, but there’s always a great alternative. And we might have cancellations or be able to squeeze you in, so don’t fret if you’re looking for a venue inside of that timeframe. We’re here to help!

Dry Lake Bed

For couples who feel that less is more, the Eldorado Dry Lake Bed near Boulder City is a great outdoor venue. The stark emptiness lends itself to incredible photography options because any piece of color really pops —  be it your clothing, florals or decorations! Bring your imagination and wedding photo dreams to life.

Mt. Charleston Retreat

Mt. Charleston is an unexpected oasis — cool and lush — in the middle of a desert.

Choose this amazing outdoor space overlooking the canyon and surrounding mountains if you’re a nature lover. Take your special day to new heights with a ceremony at the top of Mt. Charleston.
